Water softening reactors need to be periodically cleaned to remove lime scale and prevent any reduction in the capacity of the reactor. The larger the layer of lime scale on the reactor wall, the more difficult it becomes to remove it.
In the past, softening reactors were always cleaned manually. Cleaning a pellet reactor took up to a week. This was a time consuming process in which the labour circumstances were also far from optimal. Q-Flow therefore developed a more efficient method that also prevents damage to the reactor wall.
Our method is fast and efficient. Depending on the dimensions and accessibility of the reactor, the cleaning can be finished within 1 or 2 days. Once cleaning has finished, our expert staff will ensure that the reactor (including the space where it is located) is operational and clean.
