I understandQ-Flow cleans wells When developing new wells, Q-Flow ensures that all clogging is removed and all causes of clogging are eliminated. Due to decreased resistance a maximum flow on both extraction and infiltration is achieved when the water passes through the well filter and gravel pack. This reduces the energy consumption of the well substantially. This also delays the onset of any future blockage of the well and therefore the regeneration interval is significantly reduced. Maximum well capacity and an increased lifespan As all potential causes of clogging are removed from your wells, they will deliver maximum capacity and have a longer lifespan. Plunging, air lifting and section-by-section pumping After we have pumped out all loose and floating contaminations from your well, we then begin a plunging process. Subsequently, the section-by- section pumping of your well takes place, ensuring that the water is free of sand and sludge. Finally, we pump water out of the well at intervals. This removes the last blockages from the well. Finally, we then airlift the well to clean the bottom.
We perform in-house maintenance on all pumps and water wells. We have all the necessary knowledge and equipment to carry out this maintenance to an exemplary level. Maintenance on your water well We use various methods for maintenance. These include camera inspection, disinfection and various measurement methods for water analysis.
During the use of a well, particles (iron, manganese, organic) from the aquifer will gravitate towards the well over time, causing blockages. This inevitable process means that almost every well will face capacity reduction at some stage. Regeneration of wells Due to gradual loss of capacity, every well (with few exceptions) will require maintenance at some stage. Regeneration keeps a well in good operational condition by removing the causes of any potential blockages. The most suitable regeneration will depend on the location of any blockages, which tend to occur in the well filter, the gravel pack or on the borehole wall.
In certain circumstances it can be necessary to deviate from the standard regeneration protocol. This could be when a well has had a significant reduction in capacity (>40%) or at locations where water discharge possibilities are limited. Special well regeneration methods We use various special regeneration methods, such as multiple chemical well regeneration, circulation between wells and sectional circulation.
For all types of water-treatment-systems a proper follow-up and regular maintenance is essential for a trouble-free operation. Q-Flow international BV has its own service & maintenance department with a team of specialists who have many years of experience in both maintenance on potable water- and industrial water- treatment-systems as well as on wells. We offer you complete service from well to the water-treatment-system
Water wells are drilled into the ground to reach and make use of ground water. Most water wells are used to provide drinking water, but many other possible applications also exist.
Wells are plugged if they can no longer be regenerated to an acceptable quality, if it is no longer economically viable to maintain the well, or if the water is of an undesirable quality (for example salty or brackish). Plugging wells A well cannot just be abandoned, but must be correctly plugged according to a fixed protocol. The pump, the piping and the electrical installation must be removed. This is done using the drilling report, in which all ground layers are detailed. All these ground layers are then restored. Q-Flow plugs wells Our staff have extensive experience in plugging wells for drinking water companies. Please contact us to learn more.
Q-Flow is the first and oldest company in the Netherlands with sole focus on the development, regeneration and maintenance of wells. Back in 2002, Q-Flow arose from the WMO, currently known as Vitens Overijssel. In 2007 Q-Flow was taken over by Rook Pijpleidingbouw, based in Sint-Jansklooster. Since then Q-Flow has been part of the Rook Group. Development, regeneration and maintenance After our foundation in 2002, we focused on the development and regeneration of drinking water wells, but this focus soon broadened to the maintenance of sources with different applications, such as hot-cold storage in the ground, extinguishing water wells and irrigation wells. In addition, our knowledge, experience and equipment was soon also used for the cleaning and construction of water treatment systems and pipe lines. Energy efficient premises Since 2009 we are based in a new, green and energy efficient building in Nijverdal. This allows us to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. In this building, we have an extensive maintenance work shop well stocked with all the tools needed to perform the maintenance and revision of submersible pumps. Six maintenance teams Whereas back in 2002 we started with just one maintenance team, we have now grown to 6 maintenance teams by 2017. We now perform maintenance activities for wells both home and abroad.
Our goal is to raise the maintenance of water wells to the highest possible level, while also considering nature, sustainability and society. Corporate social responsibility Q-Flow International consciously implements corporate social responsibility. Our sense of responsibility means that we aim to reduce the negative impact of our business operations on mankind and the environment. Modern and environmentally friendly materials Q-Flow International only uses modern and environmentally friendly materials. Part of our turnover is invested – in addition to research and development – into non-profits that work in the provision of drinking water. We do this by providing training and equipment. Inspire, advise and develop We consider it our social duty to inspire people, provide advice and to support further development. Therefore, we invest in our employees by providing professional education and training. We also invest in the mindset and awareness of our employees with respect to the environment and society.

Because of autonomous growth, Q-Flow has decided to equip an extra team with regeneration material. Currently, much effort is being put into a complete new regeneration equipment for a Euro6 truck with 4×6 drive. It will be ready in the fall of 2017 for deployment at the customer. Of course, this gear too will be equipped with the most modern hardware in the field of source maintenance, to be able to provide the quality that the customer is used from us.
