I understandToday Q-Flow had a visit from a Japanese delegation for a meeting about well maintenance on ATES-systems (aquifer thermal energy storage) in Japan.
The delegation consisted of engineers from the Obayashi Corporation, Chuo Kaihatsu Corporation and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. There is a small number of ATES projects running and under construction in Japan, but there is a lack of knowledge and experience, wich Q-Flow has already gained in the Netherlands. The delegation was particularly interested in the long-term knowledge and experience regarding the development, challenges, operation and maintenance of ATES wells.
Q-Flow was contacted because of its decades of experience with the maintenance of these types of systems. We’ve discussed construction, drilling methods, monitoring, inspection, maintenance, maintenance methods, intervals, equipment and costs.
