This is done using high pressure (max. 500 bar) with a flow of 160 l\/min. We have also developed cleaning tools which can be used for both horizontal and vertical cleaning. The amount of pressure used depends on the type of material that needs to be cleaned.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Removing dislodged contamination<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The dislodged contaminants are directly removed using a submerged pump. Once the well filter is clean, the water will once again flow freely from the gravel pack through the well filter.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Cleaning the gravel pack and borehole wall<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Cleaning a well filter is not always sufficient. In such cases the gravel pack and the borehole wall must also be cleaned.
